Gregory of Nin was one of the most important bishops of Nin, he was also the chancellor of the Croatian royal court in the time of King Tomislav. He lived in Nin around 900-929. He was an advocate of the Old Slavonic alphabet and the Glagolitic alphabet.
Bronze statue of Bishop G. Ninski located in Nin near the church of St. Anseleme is one of the three existing ones in Croatia. All three were made by the sculptor Ivan Meštrović.
