Paprenjak of Hvar (Starogrojski ) is a traditional cookie  (edible) of the inhabitants of Stari Grad (island of Hvar). Mothers and wives prepared it for their sons and husbands seamen.
The first record of the Staropgrojski paprenjak is from the 16th century, writer Petar Hektorović mentions him in his work "Ribanje i ribarsko prigovaranje".
