Olive is a subtropical evergreen plant of the olive family, and is also represented in the southern parts of Croatia. The olive develops a tree, which is irregular, lumpy and branched. Olive wood is of high quality, used to make expensive furniture and other products. Olive fruit is made from high quality edible oil (olive oil).
