TRABAKUL

The trabakul is the name of a sailboat that is popular in the Adriatic. It has two masts. The trabakul is a boat with a typically Venetian shape, with a rounded bow and stern; at the stern, it has eyes as decoration, and below are openings for the anchor chains

Smaller trabakul ships were 14-20 metres in length with a payload of 40-100 tons, and the larger ones 30 metres, with a payload of 60-200 tons.
They had 4-5 crewmembers, sometimes more.

Trabakul ships were used in the 18^th and 19^th centuries, for both civilian and military purposes.
