PASARA (Krk) is a fishing boat about 3-6m in lenght. It has two oars. It has a pointed-shape bow, a transom sterm and a rounded hull. Smaller pasara (kaić) up to 4,8m in lenght were undecked and served as auxillary boats. Larger pasara are 1/3 decked and have a lugsail (or lateen sail)and a bowsprit with stock.
BRACERA sailing ship must have orginated on the island of Brač and it was often called bračera which was widely used in the eastern Adriatic.Bracera was must frequenrly used as a small coastal sailing vessel in the 19th and 20th centuries.Foore and aft were sharp. The stem was raised and curved and the sternpast raked forward. Her average lenght was 7-12 m,widht 3-4 m, her sides were 1,5 - 2 m, and when fully loaded , her draft was rarely over a metre.
