A tegurium is the gable of an altar screen separating the area intended for priests and the area for believers. This tegurium is from the church of St. Peter and Moses in Solin from the 11th century. Depicted are two birds, stylised peacocks as symbols of the permanent and immortal.

The inscription on the depiction is as follows: “Blessed Peter, receive the gift from the honourable Moses, your holy servant!”
